"At Grit Gym a coach sat down with me and figured out where I needed to start and which exercises would best for me. We focused on what I could do with a healthy respect for what I should avoid.
The program was tailored to me so that my efforts would be working FOR MY body. I could get stronger without getting hurt and that way I can experience more of what I love to do. Like playing with my grandkids. I'm a young grandma. When the kids stay over I can carry them upstairs to bed when they fall asleep. It's easy to find motivation to do deadlifts and push a heavy sled when you remember how much it helps you do what you love most.
I see my mom having trouble getting up stairs, out of a chair and how quickly she gets out of breath walking. It kills me to see that. And I'm so glad to have this place, a program ready for me when I walk in and someone there to help me with each exercise. It's one of the absolute best parts of my day."
