What can you do to change your state?
All of my athletes wear a piece of tape around their fingers. That's their reset button. Are you getting scared? You need a 1 second reset button. Tap your finger. Boom, you're back to being all in right here, right now.
Ask yourself, "Am I going to love myself today? Am I going to be all in with myself today? Or am I going to be afraid that I'm not enough right now?" You get to decide.
If you find yourself anxious, angry, worried, embarrassed..and the the tape doesn't work, and the two questions don't work. Then let's identify the fear and ask ourselves another question.
"Is this fear reasonable or unreasonable?" USE LOGIC. Negotiate the fear and refocus.
Your state still hasn't changed?
Put pen to paper and rewrite your goals and targets. Shine a light on where you want to go.
If all else fails, sit back and clothes your eyes and breathe.
