What do you expect?
We all want something. People come in and say, "I want to be at a healthier weight, I want to lift this amount, I want to do a fitness competition, etc." You have a desire, a want, a goal. Good. Goals are good when they are backed by a plan. The problem is our expectations around the goal.
How much work do you expect it to take? How much effort? How much time? Discipline?
The fitness industry sells easy. "This shake, that product, 30 days, etc." It negates how much work, effort, discipline, focus it takes to change your lifestyle. To change your nutrition. To change your daily dailies.
So, get clear with the expectations you set. It's going to take more than you think. It's going to be harder than you think. Do it anyway. For you to get what you have never had, you must do what you have never done.
It's going to take GRIT. Do it anyway. Give it your absolute gut wrenching best.
